About & history
The Meena Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh dedicated to fostering sustainable development, preserving cultural heritage, and empowering communities. Established in memory of Baby Akter Nahar (Meena), the foundation honors her legacy by addressing critical issues such as agricultural sustainability, digital learning, technical skills development, and arts promotion. Through diverse initiatives like the Heritage Seeds Initiative and other community-focused programs, we aim to create lasting, positive change and uplift marginalized communities.
